Privacy policy

01. Information in your diary

The information you enter is stored in the app’s local storage on your iPhone. This can include:

• Your dog’s profile, including their name, birthday or estimated age, breed, description, and avatar.
• Activity logs, dates and times, notes, and photos you choose to attach.
• Reminders, schedules, and completion history.
• Weight history, vaccination and preventive-care records, attachments, and vet contact details.
• Your preferences, custom activities, and widget choices.

We do not receive these records. LittlePaw does not provide accounts, server-based storage, or synchronization between devices.

02. Photos, camera, and notifications

Photos. When you select a photo, LittlePaw uses Apple’s system photo picker. The app receives the items you select, without requesting access to your entire photo library. Copies and thumbnails used by the app are stored locally.

Camera. Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Taking a photo is optional; you can use the diary without camera permission.

Notifications. If you enable an alert for a reminder, LittlePaw asks permission to schedule local notifications. These are scheduled on your device, without a push-notification server. Notification text may appear on your Lock Screen according to your iOS settings.

03. The Home Screen widget

The LittlePaw app and its widget share a local App Group container on your device. This lets the widget show recent activities and save quick logs for the app to import. This storage is shared only between LittlePaw and its own widget; it does not send your records to us.

04. No app tracking or advertising

LittlePaw does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The app does not collect location data or use an advertising identifier. We do not sell your diary data or share it with advertisers.

Apple may separately process App Store or device diagnostics information according to your settings and Apple’s privacy policy.

05. Backups, retention, and deletion

Records remain in local app storage until you delete them or remove the app’s data. You can edit or delete saved activities, reminders, and health records in the app. Deletion may leave temporary local files until the app performs its cleanup.

LittlePaw does not offer its own cloud backup or restore service. Depending on your settings, iOS may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup. Apple manages those backups; we cannot access them. See what iCloud Backup includes.

To remove the local diary, use Delete App in iPhone Settings rather than Offload App. Offloading preserves app data. Any existing device backups and original photos in your photo library must be managed separately. We cannot recover a deleted diary from our servers because we do not hold a copy.

06. This website

This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, forms, or embedded third-party media. Fonts and images are served with the site; the site code does not set cookies or use browser storage.

Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and traffic information, to deliver and protect the website. That is separate from the diary stored inside the app. For details, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

If you follow a link to another website or open an email app, that service’s own privacy practices apply.

07. Support and privacy requests

If you email littlepaw@bitloomlab.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use this information to answer your message and provide support, and keep it only as needed for that purpose or to meet legal obligations.

Please include only the information needed to explain your request. We do not need access to your full diary. You can use the same address to ask about, correct, or request deletion of support correspondence we hold. Your on-device records are controlled within the app.

08. Changes to this policy

If LittlePaw’s features or information practices change, we will update this page and the date above. Questions about this policy are always welcome at littlepaw@bitloomlab.com.
